I am a landscape and nature photographer based in Guildford, Surrey, in the UK.  I enjoy photographing subjects which elicit an emotional response from me, particularly the beauty of our natural world which always fills me with wonder, and the wild creatures and plants which thrive in it.

I am also very drawn to colour and shapes and this enables me to see many pictures in my surroundings. These may be of ice, beach patterns, reflections, or even fantasy landscapes in shells, corrugated iron, paint drips, and so on.

I am a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and achieved this by submitting a panel of fantasy landscapes in mussel shells.  To me, these little visions made me think of the explosive nature of the universe and I was moved to see the panel as a depiction of the evolution of our own planet Earth. This panel can be seen on the Royal Photographic Society website at: http://tinyurl.com/rpsvabfellowship.

I am also a member of the Guildford Photographic Society, a vibrant and growing community of enthusiastic photographers of varying skill levels, whose interests span many different genres.

The portfolios on this site contain my favourite images and, hopefully, reflect what I really enjoy doing best.
